    I got down to 200lbs! Then I ate a whole pork shoulder. With the skin. I think my body wants me to stay between 11 and 14 percent body fat. Soldiers traditionally kept in that range in case they needed the extra energy (marches and extended battles) and I come from a long line of them, so it's probably built in by now.

    The other day Grace & I went to lunch with Mr. Bork where he ordered a hot dog. When it came, Grace (without being prompted) removed the bun and put it on my plate, cheerfully saying "Here you go, mommy!"

    ^ Great job everyone, I love reading everyone's successes. It helps keep me going especially when I am off track!
    I'm too stubborn to give up so I keep on trying.

    You're never going to get to the top of the stairs if you don't walk up them.

    In June -I had outgrown my 12's and needed 14's. I also was panting going up the stairs at my house. In fact, one day I ran up them and ended up having an asthma attack and was bedridden the rest of the day! When I started Crossfit -25 pounds was a struggle to deadlift for 15 total reps in a session.

    Today, I ran my first 5K in under 35 minutes and wasn't winded at all! This week, I also did my first box jump in my Cross Fit class 75 times! Up to now, I've been doing box steps LOL! I also deadlifted 85 pounds for about a total of 75-80 reps (4 per round) I'm down to a size 8 but I did try on a 6 and can get it over my hips -just not buttoned or zipped LOL.
    My journal
    7/5/11 -Size 14;

    Not being utterly scared or devastatingly guilty about eating a piece of cake anymore - because one slice of cake every 6 months just doesn't matter in the big picture.

    It does if it makes you have swine flu-like stomache aches and mental breakdowns.

    Maybe I should edit that as a personal triumph, because it definitely might not be for others here. Eating SAD sweets doesn't throw me off track or make me sick. So it's nice getting to enjoy cake and not have everything go to shit because of it.
