    Knee Pain

My wife was kind enough to run with me last night and not embarrass me (though I did like the view when she ran in front ). We ended up running/walking around 2 miles and the running intervals were longer than I was used to (up to 5 min. max, up from 3 min). I woke up this morning and have a sharp pain on the inside of my left knee, below the patella. The pain is at it's worst when I try to move side to side and when I unbend the leg (for example, after I've been sitting). It's also very sensitive to the touch. Any idea what this might be? Should I just try icing it?

add magnesium and wrap it, I suspect you loosened ligaments by running and you have the pain from the joint being open

What does the magnesium do? Also, is it generally a pill, an oil?

Picked up Magnesium on my way home and will give it a try before going to bed. Also picked up a good 'ole Ace Bandage and am amazed at how much that helped. Will also ice it a bit this evening.

Thanks for the advice everyone! Will try to remember to post my results in a few days in case anyone else comes across this thread down the line.
