add magnesium and wrap it, I suspect you loosened ligaments by running and you have the pain from the joint being open
My wife was kind enough to run with me last night and not embarrass me (though I did like the view when she ran in front). We ended up running/walking around 2 miles and the running intervals were longer than I was used to (up to 5 min. max, up from 3 min). I woke up this morning and have a sharp pain on the inside of my left knee, below the patella. The pain is at it's worst when I try to move side to side and when I unbend the leg (for example, after I've been sitting). It's also very sensitive to the touch. Any idea what this might be? Should I just try icing it?

What does the magnesium do? Also, is it generally a pill, an oil?

Picked up Magnesium on my way home and will give it a try before going to bed. Also picked up a good 'ole Ace Bandage and am amazed at how much that helped. Will also ice it a bit this evening.
Thanks for the advice everyone! Will try to remember to post my results in a few days in case anyone else comes across this thread down the line.
