filter filter filter just pick out the stuff that works for me personally, otherwise I'll be over in the kitchen twitching and drooling with a glassy look in my eyes, immobilized by information overload..............

    TUESDAY
    Bfast: smoothie
    Activity: walk 3 mi
Lunch: leftover clam chowder, wheat-free lemon shortbread cookie
    Snack: 1/2c yogurt w/ 1t raspberry jam
Dinner: gf pizza w/ beef+chorizo, mushroom, mozzarella, parmesean, pizza sauce; wine, 2pc dark chocolate

I have no idea how much food that was, but before dinner I was at about 900 cals and 45g of carb. Have to be careful not to let too much gluten free baking sneak into the diet!

In other news, I needed a REAL hug and kiss from the hub this morning so I got up on the stepstool and wrapped my arms around his neck. He hugged me and said, "You feel like you've lost weight again". I was down THREE pounds of ToM water bloat since yesterday, so we'll see how much more is water.

    WEDNESDAY
    Bfast: coffee w/ cream
Activity: swim 60m (we had a substitute, he worked us pretty hard!)
Lunch: leftover clam chowder, 1/2 yam
    Snack: yogurt, other 1/2 yam
Snack: 2 GF lemon shortbread cookies, coffee w/ cream, dark chocolate
    Dinner: grilled kalbi, cauli rice
    Cal: 1400; c:91; f:82; p:68

I finally made the Traditional Cut Korean Short Ribs from Domestic Man's blog and ZOMGyumyumyum! I even went outside and did them on the grill. They came out pretty tender, but they were still a little pink inside so I'll do them in the oven until it's actually warm enough outside to grill properly. This is a great recipe because you can have KALBI and it's PALEO and you don't need the special korean cut ribs. These are also nicer than braised short ribs because the meat hasn't shrunk into nothingness; big meaty meat ribs....mmmmmm!

El Hubbo finally got a haircut yesterday and I told him he looked hot and he made a face at me. I think it's shorter than he likes, but he looks so haaaaannnddsommmee <3 [happy sigh]

oh gosh ottercat...those ribs sound soooo yummy!! I love ribs...I especially love the ribs at The Roadhouse...a restaurant down this way. Don't know if they have them in your neck of the woods, they're a chain.

I am so looking forward to grillin' time of year! There's just something about grilling meats, and even veggies, that makes it taste so good.

    re: RIBS
I'm not sure which is my favorite bodypart, either ribs or chicken wings.... I usually do ribs in the oven (heresy!), but I looooovee to make wings on the grill! They get all smoky and crispy, way better than deep frying! Anyway - that domestic man kalbi marinade was insane in the membrane, you guys gotta try it!
