    Here is my chimichurri sauce. I think it is great on eggs in addition to flank steak .

    1 bunch italian parsley
    1 bunch cilantro
    1/2 cup coconut oil
    1/3 cup a mix of lemon and lime juice
    2 garlic cloveS
    3/4 cup red pepper flakes
    1/2 tsp cumin
    1/2 tsp salt

    Remove tough stems from fresh herbs. Puree all in food processor

    For my flank steak i do a dry rub of cumin salt pepper garlic and ground coriander. No measurments just sprinkle on as i pull them out of the cabinet.
    Grill as you like.

    Eating too much of the chimichurri is how i learned not to over consume the CO.
    Sounds tasty!

    I dont buy this. Nothing generates uric acid like a high carbohydrate diet.......especially when fructose is the number on fuel. Most people dont get gout because of protein these days. 99% get it due to excessive carbs and itmalmost always walks hand and hamd with htn too. For thensame reason

    There are also 4,000,000 hits on a google search, "coconut oil is bad for you." I don't even want to get into those articles.

    HELP! We need Dr. Kruse to clear up this mess.

    there are ten million hits telling you cholesterol cause heart disease too. Do you think the number of hits makes something true? Start thinking for yourself. That is part of being optimal.

    You might read the following about MCT oil (a large component of coconut oil)
    Back Across The Line: MCT Oil Advantages
    Thank you for the link, but:

    Back Across The Line: MCT Oil Advantages
    obese women with body mass index (BMI)>30 kg/m(2) received an isoenergetic (578.5 kcal) VLCD (Adinax, Novo Vital, Sweden) enriched withMCT or LCT (8.0 and 9.9 g/100 g Adinax respectively) or a low-fat (3 g/100 g) and high-carbohydrate regimen.
    Only part of 578.5 kcal was MCT (coconut oil)

    dr Kruse is taking a gallon/month, that is

    8.5tbsp=126mL=994 kcal

    --------------------------
    Trying to get to the bottom of it.

    How much CO/day

    tbsp=???
    mL=????

    Thank you for the recipe.

    Is this sauce meant for a one person and one day??

    If not, then for how long?

    //

    Do you ever juice the parsley and cilantro?

    Then more of them could be used or juice from other greens could be added?

    I had allergy tests years ago and am allergic to pet dander, smoke, seasonal crap and environmental stuff. My husband will never quit smoking. The more I ask, the worse he will act so I just don't. If I got him a book on quitting, he would be offended and wouldn't read it. Also we have 2 dogs and a cat. We've had them since they were little so I have made myself immune to them

    JanSz, Juicing vegetables and drinking the juice is nothing more than dumping a concentrated amount of sugar spiking carbs into the digestive track.
    Do a before and post juicing session with a glucometer and see what you get.
