Wow! That sounds so amazing! How long have you been doing the leptin reset for? Or are you LS now? (Sorry, still not fully up-to-date with this mammoth thread).

I ordered the NMR for my wife today, Sept 30. There is nothing on the LabCorp requisition sheet she takes to LabCorp for a patient address. I believe the problem you are having is related to the state of New York not allowing NY citizens to order their own lab work without a physician to receive the results. You poor NY residents are not intelligent enough to understand your own labs!!!! So you just use your friend's address in Virginia as your own when you set up your account with DirectLabs. They do insert a Physicians name on the requisition...probably inhouse at DirectLabs.
The requisition is good for six months. You can receive your results on line. Call them to verify. https://directlabs.com/OrderTests/Ho...S/Default.aspx
You can still get the $79 NMR of you pay them by credit card tonight.

Hi Dr. K Have you ever heard of this? Cytokine-Induced Sickness Behavior? This is what my doctor thinks might be causing me the problems I am having. Any thoughts?

Thanks so much Dextery, that helps a lot. I'm ordering one for me and one for my husband tonight. We'll get them done here, or take a trip to see friends and get them done there if we have to. Yes, we NY folks got the stoopid.

Vkiernan, I had a week or so in the middle of my reset where I felt much like you do. It was like it just wasn't working anymore, but then everything came back in spades the following week and I moved forward again. I just kept plugging along and everything worked out. Like you, it was probably stress, but I can't remember the specifics now.

Grablife, I got the itchies too when I was about 4 weeks into the reset. It lasted about a week. I think I remember Geo did too, iirc. It went away and my skin felt great after that.

I did a big LHT workout yesterday. I wasn't sure if I should, it had been 2 weeks since my last and I did have those 5 days off plan when on vacation. I'm a tad sore today, really more tight than sore, but I saw big strength gains in all lifts! I was so excited. I really wanted to lift and it felt good. Today, I did an impromptu HIIT workout when the delivery guy brought in 7 tons of wood pellets. I had to unload and then load 28 bags, 40 pounds each. First, take them off a 4 ft. stack, lay them on the ground, then pick them up and put them back on the stack, after walking with the bag about 15 feet. And I had to do it quickly in sets of 10 bags. I rolled with it as soon as I saw the opportunity. I find it hard to incorporate sprints into my workouts since my knee really doesn't like to run fast (old injury, crushed the bottom of my femur). I've been looking for some alternative HIIT workouts and this just fell into my lap. I was more than spent at the end of it all, it was awesome.

Mud Flinger, this is what I've been experiencing this week too! I love it. I had gone through several weeks of being a bit hungrier than before and eating 3 meals (albeit the later 2 meals were on the small side), and now suddenly this week I get into my lunch and dinner and suddenly my body says stop long before I've eaten it all. Took me a few meals to listen, and I was uncomfortably full as a result, not any more though. I'm trusting, listening and loving it.

Now if I could just get rid of the post vacation bloat, lol. Just need a bit of time and it will all be good.

I've been doing the reset for about 5-6 weeks now (I'm not exactly counting). I don't know if I'm LS yet but doubt it as my hormones seem to be fluctuating wildly still.

Is this their natural way of getting Vitamin B12? Their natural diet doesn't contain B12? Is it produced by the stomach enzymes action on the fecal matter? That's pretty weird lol. At least their sense of smell and taste aren't the same as ours..they probably don't mind it ....man that sounds disgusting though.

So I just ate a salad with carrots, lettuce, kale, cucumbers, and salad dressing made from olive oil/white vinegar/spices. Than I'm going to eat my eggs normal at breakfast...doing overnights again and its my first meal when I wake up from sleeping in the morning ..sigh one of these days I'll get off these graveyards.

Anyway salad with eggs sounds weird is that what people usually eat or do they get their carbohydrates in some other way? Salad with eggs at least an omelet like I usually eat sounds really weird but I'm not sure how else to do it. Adding all these greens to an omelet seems like too many greens for a set of 4 or 5 eggs. LR says most of the carbohydrates at the first meal right? Is one time a day enough vegetables or should I eat something for the second meal. I really do not like vegetables and hope this changes over time but for now..I don't so I would rather not eat vegetables at every meal.

My current plan is vegetables for the first meal...and possibly second leaving the third veggie free and probably just having protein/fat with it.
