gahhh!!!! so I've been back on site for almost 2 weeks... and I'm trying to figure out what I'll be doing work wise beginning in october... and one of my co-workers came up to me and said "I hear you're going to be converting to an Independent Contractor".... WTF? news to me... my boss is on vacation...and every one I've talked to has NFC! and alot of the "mid-age group" (those who've been w/the company for btwn 7-15yrs) are looking for work w/in the company... I'm hoping this isn't going to be true...b/c it fucks up everything...b/c we'd loose my cheap ass insurance ($300/month) and have to switch over to dH's insurance which is $1K/month.... The only positive as long as I have work it wouldn't impact my salary... I'd really rather stay a full time employee... Though I'm thinking they're considering this b/c the company thinks it would be better for our family... IDK.... maybe the troops for teachers might be a good thing after all... especially if I pass the qualifying exams...

I've got pit sitting in my stomach - and I'm really contemplating just having some chocolate... to cope... just say no... just say no...
what sucks is right now I've got a tasks to charge against...but I don't have any work... I'm freaking bored out of my mind...

ETA: I gave in and had the chocolate...

Melatonin could be a problem while working. But it could help to normalize sleep on off days. It does work for travelers, which is somewhat related to an irregular schedule. It knocks down cortisol at night too, I believe.

yeah....there went the cortisol.... what sux is if there isn't work... I won't get paid... so then we're talking about be being employed on a contractual basis... but since I signed a contract I wouldn't be free to look for a new job until my contract is up... total pisser... going to talk w/ a friend of mine who works at FAA and see if she knows of any job openings in DOT.... I probably shouldn't get worried about anything until my boss gets back next wednesday...

the shitty part about all of this... is we're hiring... but we don't have work??? WTF??

Melatonin was a lifesaver for me last week while working away from home on a customer site. Rather than stay awake all night worrying, I took 2mg around 7.30, asleep by 8pm and up with the larks at 5am with no side effects, drowsiness etc. It also helped me cope with the 5ft of water in our basement when we got back!!

I usually do 2T maca to probably 6T coconut oil, stir it all together, and then quarter it for eating with meals.
Will certainly try it. Thanks much!

Could use or add Nutiva Coconut Manna with that. Only adds a couple carbs.
Trouble with a CO solution to Maca is consuming a couple hundred calories per T of maca.

The mood thing is often called the low carb flu and can be treated with 5htp I think but search the forum for it. Last the rice milk is a by product of grain which is a no no on paleo. My guess on what upset your stomach.

Hei MamaGrokI really don't know i have read alot about candida overgrowth and bad bacteria, yeast, parasites and i have alot of simptoms so i am not sure if that could be one of my problems
but i know one thing that i feel much better now after i ate some cabrs and i more happy and don't have mood swings anymore but the problems with gasses is just terrible and absolutley too much
