In regards to how to incorporate maca- I take Maca. One of my favorite ways to take it is mix it in with melted coconut oil, plus a heaping T of cinnamon, then put it in the fridge until hard. I hated the flavor of maca (its very malty) when I first started, but I love it now. Its also good mixed with milk, but I tend to stay away from milk these days.

Does anyone have confirmation on amounts for maca? I have seen various recommendations. Also, I read to stop taking it during menstruation each month. I did notice originally that my PMS symptoms got worse when I took it, but my libido was up too. I stopped it for a while, and took it again this last month and my PMS was there, but my libido wasn't. Bummer.

Woohoo! Three days without diet soda just lots of green tea and water, don't feel so bad. I'm not expecting to suddenly lose more weight but it will be good to no longer be addicted to that stuff.

it's great that Gary is tring to push for research to challenge the mainstream obesity scientists. It would serve him well to incorporate some leptin into it.

I asked the Dr. Kruse that and he said no. I am pretty sure it slows down the process of retraining your liver to properly use gluconeogenesis.
