    Patty Cakes,
I just spent $100 on seaweed & an assortment of seaweed snacks at Amazon.Com. I will be reporting on which tastes the best. Please join us at the Iodine Thread:

to share your your experiences with proper iodine levels in our body. SMGI already reports enhanced energy and increased libido 10 days after taking iodine supplements. I'm still a long way from my iodine stain lasting the full 24 hours on my skin test. I just reached 4 hours this week from 3 minutes 4 weeks ago.

"Some clinicians have also found the use of NON timed release niacin useful, as it helps liberate toxins from the fat. However, relatively high doses of 5,000 mg are needed. These high doses need to be slowly worked up to as niacin will cause flushing. However, about one fourth of people are simply unable to tolerate the niacin flush. Please avoid timed release niacin as it can potentially lead to chemical hepatitis."

I was curious about this because it sounded interesting I've heard of Niacin flushes before but not chemical hepatitis induced by timed release niacin. I am not taking any at the moment but may in the future and some may be taking it now so I was curious about it. This is from an article written by Dr. Mercola.

I'm gonna go google chemical hepatitis heh .

Today I purchased some Fueru Wakame Dried Seaweed. 1 pound for $3.99. I put a 3/4 cup of the dried with water and it exploded into 5-6 cups of hydrated seaweed. Wow. It is pretty good with hot water as a soup by itself. Somewhat salty. I plan on making some brothe tonight and will add the hydrated. First experience with seaweed. I like it.

I had a kinda bad experience with iodine (both Iodoral and liquid) a couple of years ago breaking out into a rash that wouldn't go away. I have since realized I was probably pushing out bromide, etc. I'm not afraid of "a little stinkin' rash" now because if it happens I will do a salt flush and get those toxins out FAST! I have also used the Nascent iodine for liquid and like it best for the taste if I'm just going to have it in water.

I've been on the iodine thread to read and catch up but need to go back and finish. I will share my experiences as time goes on.

Tell me about a salt flush. I know about using detox baths & activated charcoal for getting toxins out when overloaded, but not this.

Sorry to say this, but this subject has been covered here a MDA hundreds of times. The SYSTEM is based on selling grains, corn and other CW junk packaged products. Anyone who does not fit this doctrine is out of a job. We are all here to enrich the Big Food Companies who sell packaged JUNK designed to keep us obese, diabetic & sickly. That is how Big Pharma, Big Food & the AMA prosper on the backs of us poor sickly folk. Keep us sickly and feed us expensive drugs & crap packaged food. That is the American Way.

Primary problem is licensing - who controls it and enforces compliance, not the schools themselves. Schools will provide the service that people will pay for, i.e. the one that gets them licensing and the ability to practice a profession.

    It's here Iodine Therapy Guidelines

Scroll down to Salt Loading Protocol. I've never had to do it. I took Lugol's 5%; 8 drops, 50mg/day for a little over 8 months, with no apparent side effects. Except that I feel fantastic, brighter, more alert. I don't know how it works with me not having a thyroid. Am I converting more T4 to T3? I just don't know.

But I would have been a widow in just a few years without it. By the time Dave's was out, it had spread into every quadrant and was at a Gleason 9. It escaped the prostate as well in that short of a time. It's the best we have right now unless you know of a better test. The CRP doesn't cut it. It didnt' for Dave at least. So I keep telling every man I know to have it done every year. It might save their life.
