    Jansz,

What do you know about knocking out estrogen dominance? I am trying to get them balanced. I have probably been estrogen dominate for 30+ years and never knew it until about 3 months ago.

    Thanks.

    Off the subject.......

My husband and I did HCG for a couple of rounds. My husband lost 40 pounds - he went from 205 to 165. He is 6'.0 We are now seeing that his psoriasis has emerged with a vengeance. His skin has a tenacious rash, bumps that are are not going away, gets a bit better then worse again. Fingernails (all 10, with the middle finger being the worst. Um... Irony... Don't know why the middle finger) are pitted and look disturbing, it is called nail psoriasis. his Derm recommended using Taclonex, no sign of relief yet.

My question is the concept of toxins being stored in fat? Could his fat loss caused release of toxin, and making things worse by bringing things in the forefront?

Any person typing on bb is full of hot electrons, even if he have MD next to his name.

To become doctor's patient you must shake his hand, first.

But if you did virtual (or physical) visit with dr K or other doc,
he probably would tell you to bring more information.

    ...
I am realizing it has to be Dr. K as know one is like him and especially my doc. I asked about dhea initially and she wouldn't go there. Just waiting for him to be set up to get hacked.

Merehart, you need to remind me. I have a terrible memory. It seems that I can remember people with pic - visual I guess. I know I probably have asked you of your story in the past but I can't remember.

    Thanks.

We are always aiming at a status of (legendary) healthy young about 19-25 yo person of our sex.

    desirable
    DHEAs
    Men 350-490 μg/dL
    Women 275-400 μg/dL

    1-71/400=0.82

So you are mising 82% of steroid hormones
and you are treating it lightly

    You should have about

    pregnenolone=230ng/dL

    but you have 17ng/dL

    1-17/230=0.93

you are missing 93% of pregnenolone

Just this two, preg & DHEAs, when in good level
    would make tremendous difference in

    prog
    Estrogen
    prog/Estrogen ratio
cortisol level and your ability to make it an demand[/I]

Thanks JanSz! :-) So... age adjusted values on standard tests are useless. Looks like I have a LOT of work to do to get DHEA and pregnenolone levels up. Doing this reset, exercising less and eating more have all helped with former adrenal/cortisol problems and sleep has been great. Since DHEA and preg are low, I wonder if that is why I go right back to poor sleep when I get off phophatidyl serine, l-theanine, tryptophan & adaptogens like schizandra and eluethero?

Dr kruse wont be telling people what to do over net.......only if they show up in the office. Treatment requires a visit according to the rules. They are not my rules

Jan, for most of us with thyroid issues, it would take way too long to get optimal and THEN start thyroid. Especially for women who tend to have more thyroid issues than men. And Dr. Dzugan is not who treated me with T3. It was me demanding it from my regular doctor after reading the Wilson protocol and especially the Dr. John C. Lowe's: How to identify and treat fibromyalgia, hypothyroidism, thyroid hormone resistance. site. That totally changed my life. I was terribly sick, on the verge of lupus or something else with massive leaky gut issues. I started taking the high dose T3 and then a couple of years later I found out about leaky gut and started working on fixing that.

Dr. Dzugan came along much later, 8-10 years later. I got on bioidentical hormones, DHEA and pregnenolone which was an other huge leap forward in my health. I felt much better but my lab work still wasn't great. Then I found HCG and lost 75 pounds. My lab work after my final round was phenomenal. But I knew there was still something missing. Any carbs at all, even healthy ones like sweet potatoes, would spike my weight and I would have to do the hcg protocol of a steak day to lose it. That's when i found Dr. K and that final missing piece. So my journey has been long. But it started with T3 which I dearly love and which started the turnaround in my health. Judging from how long I was on bioidenticals, dhea and pregnenolone before finding hcg and my lab still not being optimal, (2 years) I'm sure I would still have been much too sick to function without my thyroid meds.

I would love some clarification from Dr. K on what he now believes about T3 because in his one post he recommended it for those of us with reverse T3. Perhaps I was not being clear when I first talked about it. Because I am convinced I HAD to have it or I would not have gotten to this stage of health.
