    Grains of Paradise........now what?

    Primal Fuel
I was all excited bc I scored a big bag for a good price (Starwest Botanicals) and then I realized I had originally seen them in a recipe for Apple Pie. I Googled around, but there didn't seem to be anything interesting.

Anybody have any good recipes that showcase this spice?

Assuming you like okra. I luuuuurv it, but your mileage may vary.

I have never used grains of paradise, but it's on my list of "spices to someday try".

long, green, fuzzy on the outside & slimy on the inside = caterpillar!!!

Ok, I made Carrot Latkes (grated carrot, egg, grains of paradise), but I couldn't really taste them. This morning I made scrambled eggs and dumped a bunch of GoP on them and still couldn't really taste them, WTF? Maybe I'll infuse the butter with them so the aromatics don't fly off or something....
