How do you guys feels about unsweetened almond milk? I drink it nearly everyday. One carb per cup and pretty tasty.

Almond milk is good stuff. I prefer coconut milk most of the time. Do you make it yourself, or what brand do you buy?

How does one get milk from an almond? Do you know what all of the ingredients are?

It's not real food, ditch it.

I would be leery about how many Omega 6's are in it, after all it is concentrated almonds, and almonds are nuts, which are only ok in moderation. If you want to drink it, I would say make sure you can pronounce and understand all the ingredients or make it yourself. But really, I would find a better drink, like coconut milk, or raw dairy.

I had the same opinion, so I stopped buying the stuff in the carton from the store. Then I found out it's quite easy to make.

Soak some almonds overnight in water. Put water and almonds into blender, hit frappe. Filter out almond bits and viola! Coffee creamer. Or whatever you'd like to use it for.

Soak almonds, drain, blend, squeeze out juice. If adding water to something makes it 'not real' there's not much we CAN eat.*

*Assuming you're buying good/making your own.

Sounds good. I was talking about the store bought crud.
