Hi everyone. Just registered here on what looks like a great forum.
I'm a 23 year old student from Germany. My whole life I never had any health problems, could/still can eat anything I want without problems, never got overweight (quite the opposite actually) and my parents made sure I was eating more or less healthy (not primal in any way but I was certainly not raised on burgers and pizza).
That changed a bit after I finished school and moved out. No serious health issues or anything but I guess most of you have an idea of what the student life does to your body so I'm not going into detail here. Because I was still doing a bit of cardio as well as playing soccer every now and then I was still far from overweight and could pass as normal or even a bit skinny at first glance. But my shape definitely wasn't that great anymore. I love all the healthy stuff like vegetables or fish but tend to combine them with loads of unhealthy grains.
After some half-assed efforts to change my diet I noticed a thread on the Primal Blueprint on another forum a couple of weeks ago which got me intrigued. So I ordered the book and made the switch instantly and (almost) effortlessly. So far I am very pleased with the results.
I cut out bread and pasta completely, rarely eat rice anymore and pay much more attention to what goes into my shopping cart. I also started doing the primal workouts and sprint routines. Right now I feel great.
