I think you might want to compare how you feel after eating resistant starch/soluble fiber versus insoluble roughage, before throwing the baby out with the bathwater
So I've been ill for the past few days (more veggies in the diet--blech). I cut out all forms of fiber today (including nuts) and now I feel great!
So as of this moment, I'm eating 100% animal products (meat, eggs, etc.). Hurray for dietary stereotypes!
In all of the universe there is only one person with your exact charateristics. Just like there is only one person with everybody else's characteristics. Effectively, your uniqueness makes you pretty average.

I suppose I could try that, all of the bad tasting veggies have roughage anyway. And since I'm mostly irish.... Roasted potatoes on my birthday!
