So i was looking through the forums and came upon this and was wondering what people thought? it seems pretty thorough and it does make sense to me ive been using arginine to raise my nitric oxide levels for awhile now and it makes no sense that anything that converts into nitric oxide could be bad for you unless youre taking massive dosages(highly improbable from what this article says)

I believe that the nitrates in cured meats come from saltpeter, which I believe is something they add to prison food to kill the libido.... just something to think about guys

I'm not sure nitric oxide and sodium nitrate are the same thing. I really doubt they are, so... moot point? Different source?

Mmm yeah. Also, I feel totally different eating naturally cured bacon and meats than meats with sodium nitrate/ite. I feel really, really ill if I eat more than a small amount of conventional lunch meat or bacon.

I get a hideous headache if I eat normal bacon.
