Why the popularity of coconut and Avocado per the select 7 foods thread

what is the popularity between coconut and avocado. I'd like some input per the selections on this thread about picking 7 foods to live on. http://www.marksdailyapple.com/forum/thread31361-5.html
Is it mostly about nutritional profile?

coconut? is mediocre at best as far as taste goes -I guess its the nutritional profile.

    Avocado? just taste absolutely glorious!
Fear of the unknown...They are afraid of new ideas. they are loaded with prejudices, not based upon anything in reality, but based on… if something is new, I reject it immediately because it’s frightening to me. What they do instead is just stay with the familiar.

Coconut milk is a good substitute for people who like dairy - coconut milk on frozen berries is almost (but not quite) like eating ice cream. It can be used in smoothies too. Plus, the compounds in coconut are thought to be really beneficial.

An avocado is a good healthy fat source that happens to taste yummy in a salad.

    I like them both

do ANY search on either one (especially coconuts) and you'll find out. They're two of the healthiest things you can eat, especially coconuts.

this is why tom hanks thrived in that movie on the island, where he yelled at a volleyball. he ate coconuts and he probably had a ton of avocado there.

Have you ever had FRESH mature coconut, on the shell? It is amazing. I eat some every day (along with avocado). Crunchy, crisp, mellow, clean flavor, with a nice cream that comes with each bite. It's completely different from that overpowering coconut taste in the oil or flour or a can of milk. Health benefits are through the roof....
