    Primal Fuel


    Okay, so I need to share this with you guys, since nobody else would understand ;-)


    I have had a ROUGH couple of weeks (won't go into details), both personally, and in my job search efforts. My knee still hurts from the torn meniscus I sustained a few months ago.


    I was super hungry and frustrated after a day of being chained to my desk (except for a walk this morning); I needed comfort food BAD. My intention was to totally blow off my healthy eating for one night, and make macaroni and cheese.


    I actually got to the point of having all the ingredients for that in my basket; then all of a sudden I stopped. What did I really want to get out of this? I knew I was stressed; missing my Boy...frustrated. I knew I wanted something rich and creamy. I thought of the last dish I made for the Boy, which was a beef Keema Curry. Suddenly that made way more sense, since it would remind me of happier times. Cauliflower was on sale for the "rice". Destiny.


    So I ditched the stuff for the Macaroni, and made the curry instead...happy tummy now. No guilt.


    Just wanted to thank Mark, and everybody in the community here; I never would have been able to make a 180 like that before I met you <3

    BTW: when I woke up this morning, my first thought was how great I felt; that would most definitely not have been the case had I scarfed down a bunch of macaroni. Yikes.
