7. above ground (non-root) veggies

not in order of importance...
1. almost any seafood (barring stuff like whales, dolphins, and fugu)
2. butter and olive oil
3. seaweed
4. goat cheeses and ripe brie/camembert
5. green leafy stuff (including kitchen herbs)
6. a pig (to be consumed in its near-entirety)
7. garlic
8. the local dandelion wine and Mavrodafni wine
9. wild Maine blueberries
(yeah, I know that is more than allowed, but I refuse to choose between old friends... somehow, all of them will make it onto the deserted island or isolated mountaintop)
