Liquid Meals and Insulin Response
Looking for more information proving or disproving whether a liquid meal causes an increased insulin response compared to a standard meat and veggies meal. I know the nutrient breakdown differs and all that but will a coconut milk+whey protein smoothie (like 10g carbs) for breakfast be a bad choice due to some extra insulin response or is it all good? I know I've heard a little here and there that there might be but I figured I could try for a concrete answer in a futile attempt to make myself sound smarter. Thanks in advance!
