Frozen chicken liver
Hi . I've got some chicken livers in the freezer which I've just found - 6 months they have been there!
Will I still be able to use them to make a chicken liver / pork pate - or would you think they are too old?
I can't really see why they would go off - they are as hard as rock - but advice would be welcome before I poison myself!
As long as they're wrapped tightly I'm sure they're fine. If you have any doubts at all I'd throw them into a saute with veggies and egg.
They were vac packed in thick plastic-ky stuff, fresh the day I froze them, and free range / organic.
