    Primal Flax Crackers

    I made these savory crackers today, and a mighty tasty plank for some smoked salmon, or guacamole, etc:

    1 3/4 cups Organic Flax Seed
    1 cup Almonds, Blanched
    1 cup Egg Whites
    2 tbsp Organic Coconut Oil
    1 tsp Onion Powder
    1 tsp Thyme, Dried (or parsley)
    1 tsp Salt


    In food processor until a medium flour consistency: flaxseed, almonds, salt, thyme, onion powder. Add egg whites and coconut oil, blend to smooth. Line a 12x17 baking sheet with parchment paper (have plenty of overhang); press mixture until fills pan--a piece of plastic on top with a smooth glass bottle/or rolling pin to roll out flat as possible.
    Bake at 350F for 25-30 minutes, or until slightly browned.
    Optional: half way use pizza roller or knife to cut into 48 small cracker (6 x 8 rows), and prick top with fork for more even baking.
    Cool on rack, store in tin.
