I think I'm in a bit of a rut foodwise. I tend to do a lot of grass-fed burgers, marinated-grilled chicken, grass-fed steak, ribs, and this diced chicken/milled flax seed fettucine/pesto thing I do. My biggest issue though is veggies. I've never enjoyed them much and now I need to incorporate them more. A lot of times I either wrap green beans in tin foil with italian dressing or grill sweet potatoes. Both are great but I need more. Thing is I hate broccoli, peas, brussel sprouts, etc. How about carrots? Anybody got anything good with carrots? Thanks!
One of my favorite carrot recipes, easy to make and very flavorful: Moroccan Carrot Salad.
Easiest broccoli recipe (and tastes awesome...I got my broccoli-hating husband to actually like broccoli w/ this). It takes 7 minutes to make.
2 tablespoons Oil (coconut works well)
2-3 cups Broccoli
1/2 onion, chopped
2-3 garlic cloves, crushed
1 tsp Chili Flakes
1-2 tablespoons Soya Sauce
1. Heat oil and add-in ~1 tsp chili flakes. Fry for 1 min
2. Add garlic & onion & fry in oil/chili mixture for another minute.
3. Add broccoli and stir-fry on med-high heat for another 5 mins.
4. Drizzle soya-sauce, maybe a touch of water and you're done!
