    Apple no Porridge- Porridge!

    Primal Fuel
    I tired the lovely recipe for 'Noatmeal' on here and one day I had no bananas and didnt want eggs so I did a bit of experimenting and came up with a very filling breakfast .

    Ingredients- feeds 1

    3 eating apples peeled and chopped
    1 heaped tbs of ground flax seeds
    2 heaped tbs of ground almonds ( I think you call it almond flour over the pond?)
    milk of choice ( I use coconut)
    Cinnamon

    Method

    Stew apples until tender. I do mine in the microwave.
    Put hot stewed apples in your breakfast bowl, cover with your milk, add ground flax seed and almonds and stir. Top with cinnamon to taste.
    Enjoy!

    Sounds good to me. When I go apple picking in the fall I probably eat 10 apples as I pick. I go alot too haha.

    With that many carbs for breakfast I would totally crash and burn but it does sound good.

    That would be really good with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream............. sigh............ice cream, such a distant memory.

    That sounds like a good yummy occasional breakfast for someone that is allergic to eggs and dairy! awesome!

    Sounds delish, though I will try it with just one apple. Do you peel the apples?
