I've told my story a hundred times and the greater details can be found on the first page of my primal journey... but today... May 16th I can officially say that my GOAL has been met!

    Am I perfect? No...

Do I still want to progress further? YES!

But nothing feels better than saying to myself last year, "I need to get down to 210 where I am officially no longer considered overweight by the medical standard for someone my height of 6 foot 5 inches"... and today I am there. Eighty freaking pounds later... EIGHTER MOTHER $&#*(&ING POUNDS GONE!

Here is the proof in photo form:

To me the biggest difference is seen in the face... (see image below)

All I can say is thanks to Mark Sisson, Batty, Funkadelic Flash, Rivvin, iniQuity and all the others who have helped me on here (far too many to name!) and most of all such freaking awesome scientists such as Darwin, Dawkins, Hawking, and Sagan... who made science cool for me and without the science of human evolution I'd still be a fatty wondering why my ass is so large and why I'm so damn unhealthy.

    March 1st 2010: 308lbs | CW: 219lbs / 18.5%BF | New Goal: 16% BF
Male. 28. 6'4''. Currently working on them muscles and strength!

I know! I'm not usually one for beer... but what the heck! If you can make the drive here to Ohio I'm down! Haha!

    Congrats! What's next?
Well in the last 5 years I've accomplished a lot of life's goals...

Lets see... write a novel? Check... I've I've written four novels and three of which are published.
(see here if you don't believe me: Book 1... just search my penname for more if you actually give a fig...) Are they any good? I like 'em... Will I ever sell more than 5 copies... Well, I've sold 11 copies so far and the important thing is that I didn't pay a damn cent to publish them and I had an 'effing good time writing them.

Next? Go back to college and finish up... check!
Did that... spent 6 years at it but I did it and I've got the decent paying gov'ment job to prove it!

After that? Lose 80 pounds and stop being a lazy fat ass? CHECK! (See above)

And NOW lastly... after losing weight I need to lose some debt... about $7000 worth of credit card debt between my husband and I... but I'm already working on that goal by trying to get myself a part time moonlighting job and if I stick to it in a year it'll be allll gone!

If I can lose 80 lbs I can do ANYTHING!

Wow, good stuff. To actually finish a book is tremendous, let alone get it published. How many books have I started and abandoned...

I'm a third generation writer... my grandmother was published and my dad wanted to be...

I do it for fun and because I had a story to tell... in the end the person who enjoys reading it the most is me... :-)

Writing has always been a hobby and always will be.

That is a ridiculously awesome job! Such a change! At 6'1" with a start of 315lbs on 1/1/11, I was a "husky", check that, I was a fatass too! I'm at 251lbs now. I can't wait to get to the 205lb range. That's my goal. I started Primal on 5/6/11 at 258lb.

Anyway, you write? What's your pen name? I love to read, especially books where the characters carry over in the series so you get to see them develope. Hit me back in message if you feel like sharing or telling me where to buy. Kindle for iPad or iPhone is how I've been reading for a year, are they available in the Kindle store?

    Again, excellent job!

That is fantastic - many congratulations!
    ~ Chris

When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life.

When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down "happy". They told me I didn’t understand the assignment.

I told them they didn’t understand life.
