    Barefoot options?

    Shop Now
Today, I was browsing through Sportchek while my son tried on soccer cleats. I found the new Merrell barefoot shoes, the Glove. There were 2 varieties, a lace-up runner style and a "Mary Jane" style called the Pure Glove, better for work and dressier needs. I tried them both, liked the lace-ups better for feel, but the MaryJanes better for workability. Has anyone had experience with these shoes? Any recommendations for them vs other "barefoot tech" shoes? I tried the VFF's at a marathon race expo last fall and really didn't like them. My poor little toes were stretched to major discomfort in them. I prefer the idea of my toes staying together.

Thanks in advance for any input.

I have the trail gloves and my wife has the pure gloves and we both like them. I'd say go for it.

Mind telling me what they sell for in the States? I'm looking at $115-125 Canadian.

Ooh, those are cute (the Mary Janes). They're US$90 on the Merrell website.

Figures! Our dollar is worth about $1.04 USD, but we pay a 20-25% premium on most things. Burns!

A little too tight and confining for me but that's a personal opinion, enjoy the 5 fingers much more.
You'll never see the light if you're in someone else's shadow, or said another way, life is like a dog sled team, if you're not the lead dog, the scenery never changes
