I picked up some local ground lamb and bacon from a vendor at our local farmers market. I made the following at the suggestion of the farmer.
I mixed about a pound of ground lamb with one beaten egg, chopped onion, garlic, and several leaves of apple mint, finely chopped. Made patties, then wrapped each patty in bacon.
I'm not a very adept meat cooker, so I started the burgers off under the broiler, but I felt it was taking too long. So I transferred them to a cast iron skillet on the stove, which was fine. In future, I'd like to try them on the grill (once I get a grill).
End result: DELICIOUS! Even the hubs, who is still more geared toward a CW diet, loved them, and enjoyed eating the burgers w/o a bun. I picked some leaf lettuce from the garden & wrapped my meat in that, and he followed suit, even tho we have bread in the house.
I am psyched to continue improving my meat cooking skills.

Okay, next trip to the store, I'm buying ground lamb!
Started PB late 2008, lost 50 lbs by late 2009. Have been plateaued, but that thing may just be biting the dust: more on that later.
Hubby loves meat because men love meat and meat is delish. Continuing to cook amazing food may result in spousal conversion!
If you are new to the PB - please ignore ALL of this stuff, until you've read the book, or at least http://www.marksdailyapple.com/primal-blueprint-101/ and this (personal fave): http://www.archevore.com/get-started/
