I was searching for a book that covers the basic processes of food metabolism in the human body. I couldn't find much on it, but I think I might be using the wrong terms.
Do any of you guys know a good resource to learn more on the topic?
I'm looking for scientific literature in first or second year biology students (my guess is that they would learn about the specifics of how food get's metabolized and get's utilized by the body).
