    Coconut butter

There's a product by Artisana called Coconut butter. It's a thicker version of coconut oil. It's the same consistency of frosting and tastes a lot better than coconut oil too. I just bought some and am loving it so far. Does it have the same nutritional properties as coconut oil?

Why don't you post the nutritional label?

I LOVE coconut butter, and have been wondering if it's as good for you as coconut oil.

I would go for Tropical Traditions Coconut Cream Concentrate instead. It's a cross between coconut oil and coconut boil, and way yummy!

Artisana has a bunch of different butters, and supposedly they're all pretty good. I only tasted the Madacamia+Cashew and the Pecan+Cashew combos so far, and they were great. I still like almond butter more (haven't tried their almond butter, just other brands).

I think the Artisana stuff is just 100% pure raw coconut that has been "butterfied". Personally I think it's highway robbery and make the exact same stuff for pennies-a-serving by grinding unsweetened-untoasted coconut in my food processor until it becomes coconut butter. It does solidify at room temp (depending on room temp) but melts so wonderfully...

Most nights a tbsp or more of coconut butter is my dessert! The oil separates on top from the rest of it so I would say, yes - you are getting the same benefits.
