    Hey folks!

My roommate and I are aspiring primals. While we've been eating semi-paleo for the last 6 months, we just recently made the commitment to really improve our diets. So far, I'm at 10 days with no dairy, grains, legumes, sugar or processed food other than the cream in my coffee (sorry - I'm not giving that up.) It's been great. I absolutely love everything I'm eating and already feel 1000 times better now that I've kicked sugar from my diet.

Breakfast and dinner are locked down - I've got variety and plenty of new recipes to try. However, I tend to eat about 4 meals a day and I'm struggling to find new options for the midday meals. My job precludes me from doing real "sit down" meals, so I usually eat something snack-y like an apple with almond butter or a pear and some walnuts. Anyway, I was hoping the fine folks in this forum could provide other suggestions for lighter fare that doesn't take a lot of prep work. (For the record - I'm in the mid-Atlantic and try to eat at least semi-seasonally. So anything with berries is out for a few months).

Any help would be much appreciated!

Lunch I usually have leftovers or leftover meat in a salad.

Snacks are fruit, cheese slices(yes semi not ok)and almonds.

I snack on nuts, fruit, hard boiled eggs. I also make these every week - http://www.marksdailyapple.com/primal-energy-bar-redux/

I like to eat eggs at some point in the day...I don't know if that is your breakfast though. A fruit and a bunch of nuts is my breakfast. Other than that I just eat a piece of meat with a large side of veggies with olive oil drizzled on them.

Boiled egg is a great on-the-go snack. You could boil a bunch ahead and take one or two with you to work everyday.

Hard boiled eggs, beef jerky, some nuts....

Primal eating in a nutshell: If you are hungry, eat Primal food until you are satisfied (not stuffed). Then stop. Wait until you're hungry again. Repeat.
