    Recipe? Who uses those? Haha. A Snickers bar is five layers - chocolate, nougat, nuts, caramel, chocolate.

    First layer is melted dark chocolate of your choice. Let it set in the fridge to firm up.

    Second layer is nougat, which is essentially butter, sugar and egg whites. You'll have to look up how to make it, but spread it on the set chocolate. Then put it in the fridge to set. I don't use corn syrup so I melted brown sugar and molasses with butter and cream cheese so it was thick, then folded in egg whites and let it set in the freezer for about an hour to get firm.

    I toasted some almonds, then topped the nougat layer with them.

    Then I made caramel. A few tablespoons of butter, maybe a half cup of dark brown sugar with a little added blackstrap molasses and 1/8 cup whole milk. I add around 1-2 tablespoons of cream cheese as well. Pour that over the almonds and nougat, then back into the fridge for an hour to set.

    Then top with more melted chocolate of your darkness choice.
