You obviously like your dark chocolate - have you tried 100%? The first time I did, my mouth collapsed and dried out. Since going primal, I love it - I use it primarily in Chilli.

I got this from Hotel Chocolat, who are online. I don't know if it will be cost-effective to deliver to you but for a sizeable order, the postage comes down. I can fully endorse this chocolate!

I'm not a coeliac, so white flour is far healthier for me IMO, especially fermented like I do. Almond flour is garbage IMO and I'll only use it for cheesecake crust because it's thin, it works well and it's baked at a lower temperature underneath smoke points.
This is a really useful nugget. Thanks.

I totally agree! Everyone is hung up on pork/chicken/turkey and their high omega6 content but eat baked goods made with almond flour.

Hey, it's the same thing about grains and chocolate. All day every day we whine about the phytic acid content of grains, but chocolate contains one of the highest phytic acid contents of any food in existence. It's around 10-15 times higher than wheat flour. Pick your battles I guess. I sure as hell won't give up chocolate, but it's not exactly a staple in anyone's diet I hope and it's high in good fats and gluten free.

100% is just baking chocolate as far as I know. It shouldn't really have any additives so I can't see the point in spending buku bucks on what's essentially just cocoa butter and cocoa powder. I like to make my own baking chocolate, so I just get the cheapest unsweetened baking chocolate I can find and melt it down, curdle it with usually flavored liquor or liqueurs, reconstitute it with either butter or coconut oil (usually VCO) and then I mold them. I have molds for peanut butter cups, 1" deep by 2" wide monster truffles, 1" deep by 1" wide small truffles, shallow ones molded into shapes, 3oz breakaway chocolate molds and a monster 8oz chocolate bar mold that I could probably use to sell, haha. They come out great. I'm gonna make some liqueur filled ones for my mother for Christmas.

I did, but I tasted a little bit and it seemed a little "soapy". Not sure if that's how it's supposed to taste. I have to mail the company and make sure it's food grade. It says it's edible in their description but a recent review said it no longer is and for moisturizing purposes only.

Nice! Which berries? Some can take on a subtle chilli, which works very well with pork.

I'd like some rich greens alongside, possibly with bacon tossed through, but that's me.

I had a total meat overload this evening with three kinds of burger - 6 quarter pounders each!
