I don't really eat legumes very often. Maybe once or twice a month, tops. I've never made black bean brownies, but I've added some to my cornbread before and it was really good.

Compare that to wheat , which may be lower in phytic acid, but you're eating 1-2 cups of it at a time in the form of a 12" sub roll or a half pound of pasta. I'm not going to sit down and eat 100g of cocoa on a regular basis...though I would love to!
