What can I make with ground lamb?

I have some ground lamb thawing for tomorrow, but I have no idea what to make with it. I have not cooked with lamb before.

    any suggestions? Thanks!

Moussaka - quick google will give you loads of recipes. Or shepherds pie - if you don't "do" potato, use pureed cauliflower instead of mashed potato. Of keema curry.

In fact, it is so versatile there are DOZENS of recipes - google ground or minced lamb recipes.

I mix ground lamb with ground beef for meatloaf, although just the lamb would be brilliant as well. Season with sumac, cumin and cinnamon. I also add chopped roasted red peppers, puree a few of those to sub for tomato paste, a bit of coarse mustard, eggs, sauteed onions. Delish!

If you can tolerate nightshades, go for stuffed cabbage rolls. I use(d) this recipe from the Primal Mama Cooks blog.

Sumac! Yum! I had almost forgotten about that - delicious flavour.

Oh yeah, I LOVE ME food. And many Americans freak about the idea of cinnamon on meat, but it's great savory.

I didn't know anybody freaked out about cinnamon on meat. Standard seasoning for me.

Most associate it with sweets, which it is good for that of course, but not as common on meat here.

Anything you can do with ground beef, you can do with lamb.
