    Sweet! Maybe now people will stop worrying when they have great numbers with only LDL being "too high".

    My mom was embarrassed to show me her blood test results because she had 'high cholesterol' (and she's vegetarian, so of course that shouldn't have happened, right?) Turns out she had slightly high calculated LDL, and it didn't even say whether it was Pattern A or Pattern B. She did have almost a 2:1 trigs:HDL ratio, though, but her doctor didn't say that was problematic since it was all 'within the ranges.'
