    Tortilla Chips!

    Primal Fuel
In the spirit of Cinco De Mayo, I made "tortilla" chips based on this recipe:
Paleo 'Tortilla' Chips Recipe from Babs

    And they're pretty darn good!

I did 2 whole eggs mashed w/the almond flour, EVOO, chili powder, paprika, cumin, red pepper. Off to scarf it down!

I just made these but didn't have the last two spices. Did yours come out like chip crunchy? Mine didn't. They taste good but are not crisp. I made them pretty damn thin, but I guess not thin enough. This recipe could easily cover a large baking sheet if rolled out very, very thin.

I'm surprised there is no fat added to the flour...

^^I was too, but maybe its because the almond flour has so much fat already. I did give mine a little spray of olive oil at the end, but I don't really think it was needed. My chips had little tiny droplets of oil on top of them towards the end, but I put oil on anyway.

I added EVOO to mine (so there's the fat). Mine didn't have a great "snap" to it, but they were very satisfying and held up well to salsa. It could easily make 2 batches if you roll it thin enough

I rolled mine out to the point where it overflowed the already full baking sheet. Thank heavens my parchment paper was bigger than the pan!
