Here is the simple truth. If you have a jar full of rocks and you want to reduce the number of rocks in the jar, you HAVE TO TAKE MORE ROCKS OUT THAN YOU ARE PUTTING IN. You may try to escape this FACT. You will fail. If you are adding two rocks and only taking out one, you will continue to fill the jar. You are going to hear infinite ways on this forum about how and what to do. Obviously, it is healthier to eat healthy, unprocessed foods. That should be a given. But to lose mass you will have to take out more than you put in. Run down all the rabbit holes you like, constantly worry about getting it “perfect”, and continue to return to this forum again and again with questions about why it’s not working and/or why you are stalled. Or, eat less and less often, and be more active. Ever been to Europe or Asia? They are not fat. They don’t spend much time worrying about ratio’s, or coconut oil, or macro’s, they just eat less and move more than we do. No one has ever gained weight if they stopped eating!
