Seeking home-visiting personal trainer near Bridgeport CT for aging mother
My 78 y/o mom recently got kicked out of her all-woman gym because her friend fell on the treadmill. So they deemed that woman and my mom too old for the gym. This really discouraged her from going to other gyms. They had a good program with a virtual trainer that walked her through all the workouts. So now she has resorted to trying to do some exercise at home. I would however like to get her a few sessions, at her home, with a good personal trainer who can really build a routine for her that makes a difference. Not the physical therapists who give you a black and white photocopy of some exercises with rubber tissue.
She doesn't have much equipment save for some very light dumbells.
Does anyone know of a good way to go about finding a good personal trainer that will come to the home for a few sessions? Websites? Referrals? Companies? Things to look for?
Resistance bands would be my recommendation in this case.
I'd hit the internet to find a good trainer... or maybe the gym you go to.
Maybe even a good physical therapist.... they are not all created equal. My wife is one of them

Not the crappy pt bands... things like iron woody bands or bodylastics.
