Probably. Though I warn you, I get crazed and dangerous in the kitchen. If food isn't EVERYWHERE, then I'm not having a good time.

What blender do you have?! My personal blender from HB will not blend carrots - no way. That's why I have carrot juice instead!

What would be a good substitute for banana? I have a banana sensitivity and can't eat them any more.

This is a smoothie I made last night. It makes an entire 60 ounce Vitamix Blenderful and I divide it into three servings and consume one right away and store the other two servings in sealed mason jars:

    Green Smoothie:
    20 oz filtered water
    2 cups spinach
    3 oranges
    2 cups of red grapes
2 cups of Dole Frozen mixed fruit (from Sam's club - contains pineapple, mango, peach and strawberry).

for flavor or texture? Personally I think super ripe, slippery, squishy, juicy mangoes are the way to go

I make smoothies for my kids almost every morning. Our basic is, well...very basic. Frozen berries (blue, rasp, and marion), heavy cream, stevia if the berries aren't sweet, almond milk. I don't measure. They also like carrot cake smoothie-carrots, apples, pineapple, coconut milk, cinnamon, optional avocado. I make kefir at home and when it's not going into ranch dressing, it goes into what ever I'm blending up. Actually, I use a food processor for my smoothies. We're a big family, with lots of teen appetites and my 20 cup processor lets me do it all in one batch.
