    I definitely need to try this route... I've only ever braised pork belly... not fried it crisp.

    Sweet potato fries.

    Sweet potato fries are my bacon. They make EVERYTHING better. Given the choice between bacon and sweet potato fries, I will choose the potato fries 99 times out of 100. And if they're made from satsumaimo's I'll take them 101 times out of 100. Which means I'll beat you and take yours, too!

    I agree. I haven't bought bacon in months. I never crave it, though I do want to buy some pork belly and smoke my own.

    i just made some dark chocolate covered uncured thick cut bacon. and i sprinkled it with coconut flakes. my wife is one lucky woman...
