    Thumbs up Little Brag

So, this mightnot seem like a huge deal, but I am excited about it. I scored over 80 on my fitness test today. I have never scored over an 80. I have failed a bunch of them, so I was always happy just to pass (passing is 75).

    stats:
run 1.5 mile: 14:32 (my goal was under 15, I did 15:25 on my last test)
    sit-ups: 29 (bummer I did 33 last time)
waist measurement: 33 (was 34 on my score card- although two of the 3 were 33.5- someone messed up inputting it)
    push-ups: exempt

My goal for next time, six months from now, is a 90. When you score 90 or better you only have to test once a year.

To get a 90 I need to reach the following goals-

    run: 13 mins or less
    sit-ups: 44 or more
    push-ups: 15 or more
    waist: 32.5 or less

I really think this is totally doable. I need a lot of work on the push-ups, but I think I can get there.

Congrats, and good luck - the 90 sounds totally within reach! Push-ups are tricky for a lot of women - it's taken me a lot of work just to get to the point where I can do 3 sets of 5 with good form, but it feels awesome.

Congrats!! I think your goals are totally doable. Have you looked into the 100 pushups training plan? I know a lot of people swear by it for building up to pushups.... one hundred push ups

I'm thinking of starting it next week when I get back on my schedule...

Most excellent! I have no doubt if you keep doing what you're doing, a 90 is easily within your grasp in 6 months!

I'm up your way in a couple of weeks...the aerospace medicine conference in Anchorage (though I'm not sure that's quite where you are?)...
