Slightly embarrassing question about sex hormones

    Shop Now
I've been Primal for two months now but I'm still battling insulin resistance (I have pcos and am overweight so it will take some time to reverse). When I'm hungry and get the usual low blood sugar symptoms (brain fog, anxiety etc, happens about 3 times a day) I almost always also feel horny. Does this happen to anyone else?! Does anyone know why? My initial thought is that insulin stimulates androgens and I still have too much of the former hanging around, especially when I'm hungry.

I don't get the insulin spikes but my sex drive has increased. Maybe because I have more energy?

I can't really answer this well because I'm horny pretty much 24/7. My boyfriend still can't decide wether that's a blessing or a curse! XD

If I were you... I'd not worry about it. If you've got a man, pounce on him. If not... Go pounce on one anyway. =D

So would this mean that the alternative to getting ladies drunk is to jab them with some insulin? Good to know.

I'm PCOS yet have always had a high sex drive. Going PB never changed much for me in that regards but I have seen where other women said it increased.

I may have to try this. I believe my wife is sexually inert. And it's sad too, cuz she is hotter than hell.

I have PCOS and have 0 sex drive. Eating only makes me feel LESS inclined. Can any of you share some of your hormones? I feel so bad for my poor, sweet husband.
