    Unhappy 4 days into PB and I have not lost a single pound, what is wrong with me?

    Hi you all,
    I am pretty new to the hole PB thing, I was introduced by a friends website and everything made a lot of sence to me-still does.

    I am a 37 year old female and way to heavy, I hit 250 pounds on a 5.6 foot frame. ( I am also German, so pls. excuse my English:-))

    I thought it would be very easy to change to PB, and I am actually not missing any carbs. I did not have any for the 4 days I am doing this. Also no dairy and almost no fruit. But I am doing something wrong, I think I am actually eating way to much. It really shocked me to see my calories that first day when I thought I had eaten a lot less than I usually do ( around 4000 calories that first day). I mean, I am not 250 pds. for no reason...

    Here is what my day looked like today, the last 2 days were a little higher in the fat:

    Calories
    2,604
    Fat (56%) Carbs (11%)
    Protein (32%) Alcohol (0%)

    Anyway, it seems to me that I am not eating right since I do not loose weight. Clearly cutting out the carbs is not enough, should have known itīs not that easy:-)

    Any ideas where I go wrong here? I appreciate the help,

    Second, tell us what exactly you're eating and how much.

    Could you tell us what exactly you are eating?

    I would have to agree with you, I think you may be eating too much. But why are you eating this amount? Are you still hungry?/carb flu? Keep in mind that it's only been four days so your food intake may regulate itself and decrease naturally over the next few days/weeks.

    Do you have any health problems?

    Hi Grumpy Caveman,
    I am trying to have patience, I really do. But reading all those incredible success stories I was hoping for some weight loss quick.

    Anyway, here is what I ate today:

    B: 2 eggs scrambled with 1 tbsp olive oil, 1 tbsp worcester sauce, 1 zucchini, 5 mushrooms, 1 red bell pepper, 1 onion, 1/2 acocado, leek and 2 slices of ham.

    L: 1 leftover chicken breast with veggies cooked in coconut milk

    D: huge beef steak (14 oz) with 1 tbsp olive oil, asparagus ( l think about 10 strands) with olive oil and vinegar and cooked in 1 tbsp butter

    That is all, no snacks and only water to drink...

    Oh, and I feel pretty hungry at meal times. I think my calorie intake prior to PB must have been at least 4000 or more. I am truly ashamed...

    The first to days I ate veggies with a gravy of heavy cream and eggs cooked in that gravy and it seems to satisfy me longer...

    What did you use to calculate your calories? I have trouble believing that that came out to 2,604 calories. Seems like 1800 - 2000 at the most.

    The meat alone brings me to 1500, the olive oil to another 500...
