My (almost) daily salad goes like this:
A couple fistfuls of mixed field greens
4" of English cucumber, sliced
2 big stalks of celery, sliced
1 carrot, sliced
1/4 red pepper, sliced
1 sheet of toasted seaweed, torn up
1/2 cup or less of frozen 4 berry blend
1 handful of macadamias
1 avocado, sliced
balsamic vinegar, liberally
I would add broccoli and cauliflower but I've read that cruciferous veggies like those are best eaten cooked or steamed. I used to have raisins, too, but removed them in the interest of decreasing my sugar intake.
