    How to recover after a carby binge?

    Hello all,
    I unfortunately did not take many people's advice to not smoke weed today and I ate the following

    PRE-SMOKING:
    -1 pc dark chocolate, about 5 nuts, 4 cubes of mango, 1/2 sesame-sunflower seed honey bar = about 40g carbs
    1h30 mins of ashtanga yoga
    -1 carrot-apple-orange juice = about 40g carbs
    -1 serving full fat homemade Greek yogurt with 1/2 tbsp honey + berries = 15g carbs
    -1 medium serving of nonfat passion fruit and dulce de leche frozen yogurt = 25g carbs
    -1 plate of scrambled eggs = fat and protein
    -1 banana, sauteed in butter and french toast batter, eaten with maple syrup = 60g carbs

    POST-SMOKING:
    -Another fro yo...this time with 1/2 piece of chocolate cake I hadn't touched wheat in over 2 weeks! = 60g carbs, if not more

    DINNER:
    -1/4 lb shrimp, grilled with butter + pesto = fat and protein
    -Almond milk-coconut milk-berry smoothie = 20g carbs

    TOTAL: 250g carbs, if not more. Very little protein. Some good fat.

    How do I fix it tomorrow?

    Don't eat that crap tomorrow. Very simple.

    What surprises me is how much non-primal & high-carb food you ate before you smoked. Did you get it in your mind that this was just going to be a cheat day so it was fine to go all out?

    Yeah, I think I may have accidentally done that. Oh well, I need to control myself more...
    Would it be fine for me to eat under 50g carbs tomorrow?

    This is anecdotal, but I have employed Intermittent Fasting after a cheat meal with good results. Of course, some of those results may be nothing more then psychological. Also, don't let one day sabotage you. You need to average this day down. Hence, why IF can help.

    I wish I could but my mom would never let me...plus I'm going to hang out with a friend who's a partially recovered anorexic so I think my fasting will be triggering seeing as she knows I used to have an eating disorder too.
    I'm just going to eat an omelet (breakfast), shrimp-avocado-salad (lunch), and a salad (dinner). I'll do a sprint or yoga or bodyweights - or two of the three.

    Just continue eating clean tomorrow, a cheat won't kill you.

    Half a piece of cake looks like the only non-primal thing there, strictly speaking, so that's not so bad. But, the vast majority of your carbs seem to be from the pre-smoking section, and they seem to be very sugary. Is that how you eat every day? Might be a little much if you're trying to control cravings.

    No not every day...today was just a blip for some reason. I normally eat *one* heavy-carb thing and it's usually an almond pancake with a tiny chunk of banana and some honey.
    Yeah it's not awful but I just feel very uncomfortable and gross. I wish I could clean my body from the inside out, haha sounds gross but I feel heavy and bloaty.

    If you cant enjoy a smoke without it derailing you, get off the pipe.
