Is Muscle milk an ok protein powder? I have a ton of the stuff leftover from when I was doing P90X. I'm planning to start up again with P90, and have read that a quality protein powder is good for you. Is this an ok option?

Take a look at the ingredients.

It's a "frankenfood" and not made from food. Why not just eat real food? That is part of the Primal way of eating after all!

If you feel bad about wasting it - eat it with coconut milk . But you certainly do not require it to be healthy or to obtain enough protein.

My SO used to drink Muscle Milk back in the day when we were gym rats. Then he read an article about how BAD MM really is for you! He won't touch the stuff now....toss it out.

Muscle Milk is like drinking a chocolate milkshake. It is very full of sugar. In my early days of working out, I drank this stuff only to put on about 5 pounds of fat. That's what I get for listening to those bodybuilders in the muscle magazines. Duh!

Selling it sounds like a great idea, except that it's all already opened. I have several different flavors. Do you think people would still buy it? I sure the heck don't want it now! LOL

I love the taste of MM, MM Light and the ready to drink shakes. But it is a complete frankenfood. However, I don't recall the sugar being that high - unless my memory sucks.

Sell it! No reason you can't get AMPLE protein by eating natural sources. It is steak and eggs time, my friend!

Muscle Milk protein powder is ultra-refined chemical garbage. Avoid it at all costs. Eat lots of meat instead. :]

If u plan on continuing to use protein powder, try a zero carb/zero sugar one like Isopure.
