My chest and lats are deliciously sore today. It's another hot day too- I hope it continues through the weekend so I can fully enjoy it.

Eats: coconut milk/blueberry/protein shake, spot of cream in my green tea, shephards pie, beef/broccoli stir fry
Exercise: 1 hour walk, more messing around in the park with different exericses. I make it up as I go so I'll post later tonight on what I actually did.

Nothing else much exciting to report. Work is pretty slow right now. I made a facial appt for one of the days I'm off next month. Decided to go the cheaper route (La Costa is too expensive for me right now). Also plan on getting a pedicure at one of the cheapo places ($20). On my actual birthday we are planning on having a shindig at one of the casinos that will entail alot of eating and drinking.

It's Thursday and I get off work at 11am tomorrow !!

hannah, it's purely the sun and awesome weather. Sunshine truely makes me happy. It's amazing what a mood booster it is for me. When I lived in Oregon I was so depressed all the time! Serious seasonal affective disorder.
Anyhoo, glad I can be of service to you! Hope you start feeling better soon. I know that first trimester sucks.

Came home, changed my clothes, and went straight to the park. I did a bunch of stuff- let me see if I can remember it.... 3 sets of 10 for each exercise.
Push-ups, V-ups or knee-ups whatever you want to call them (the park has a pull up bar), step up lunges off the picnic table, dips, jumping jacks, crunches, cartwheels (I think I jacked my wrist on these so no more for awhile), and 5 sets of sprints (length of the park- I don't know how far that is). Then I laid in the grass and soaked up the humidity. Ahhhhhhhhhhh. Then I made beef/broccoli and a cucumber/tomato salad. Cleaned out the fridge. Now I need to figure out my grocery list for next week. Any ideas for meals? I know I'm getting watermelon but that's all I got so far! I think I'm ready for another stint of cobb salad. And I think I'll actually attempt to make my blue cheese dressing this time.

You must be a pretty damn sexy and uncommonly sane-looking woman.

I'm sure I'd have been arrested for doing such things in a public park!

I don't mind, personally, being unsexy and crazy-looking (hell, I train retrievers--I know that's both unsexy and completely insane)--but being detained by law enforcement would be rather inconvenient.

    Anyway--does sound like fun.

Blue cheese is pretty easy!! Blue cheese crumbles, mayo, sour cream, a few spices. BAM! Maybe some vinegar in there too, I don't remember exactly

I'm having beef short ribs FOR SURE, I'm super excited about those. I think I'm actually going to make a meal plan tonight, for the first time in like, 3 or 4 weeks, it's awesome!

Lab- LOL- yeah I had people staring at me, I won't lie. But whatever, I'm not going to let some lookers-on prevent me from flailing about.

hannah- yes that's how I'm going to make the blue cheese dressing. There is vinegar in there somewhere I'm sure.

    Okay- I have my list-
    Cobb salad
    Chicken curry salad
    Swedish meatballs and cabbage slaw
    bacon cheeseburgers
    crab salad

    T,
Believe it or not, I actually got kicked out of one of our little urban parks one morning. Nobody else was there, so I was goofing around on the monkey bars trying to crank out some lame pull-ups...and was contacted by one of SF's Finest. He explained that adults were only allowed in the playground if they had a child with them

He apologized, cause he knew I wasn't some creepy stalker...but I had to go.

Kudos for making it work where you live (and with maximum style)! Probably you don't have as many miscreants as we do.
