    Boston Butt Roast

    Shop Now
So we have Boston butt roast down for dinner tomorrow, but hubby wants to cook it in the roasting bag. Honestly, I hate when he cooks stuff in the roasting bag.
Recipes, please? Especially if they make it taste good in a roasting bag so hubby doesn't have a tantrum :P

Personally, I love pounding Montreal Steak Spice into a roast on all sides before roasting it, it turns out delicious.

We do our Boston Butt for pulled pork. It is quite tasty and an easy recipe too. Its even delicious without the barbecue sauce (which is pretty darn clean to begin with) - but it's that good.

We had a good time the day we made it, and shot a little video of the cooking process:

    Here is the recipe:

This Garlic Pulled Pork from right here on MDA is my fave pork recipe. It's really good and almost impossible to screw up (which is always good when I try a new recipe).

Thanks guys! Unfortunately hubby got it into the roasting bag while I was laying down. *sigh*
At least I have awesomeness from all of you for next time!

What is a roasting bag? And why does it make food yucky?

Oven Bags for Turkey, Chicken, Beef, Pork and Fish Recipes

I don't know why they don't "do" it for me. About the only foods I'm okay with them going over is turkey, chicken, and ham.

EEEEWWWWW!!!! Food cooked in a plastic bag??? That's kinda gross. I can see why you'd be icked out.

Get your hubby a pressure cooker or something. It's gadgetry, it'll turn his crank. Tender fall-apart meat in under an hour - beats a plastic bag!

We have a crock pot/slow cooker, but he hates making roasts in it. He thinks they turn out better in the roasting bags.
