    15 lbs of ham

    Primal Fuel
Ok, so I'll admit it, I'm a thrifty wench, I LOVE things on sale.

This week at our grocer the fab deal was smoked ham for .99/lb. I love pork. It's the meat of kings. It's made from pigs. It goes with onion rings. (Sorry, singing a youtube song...back to the question) I know, I know....that much salted, cured meat is probably not the wisest choice, but this is what my budget allows so don't beat me up for it.

What I'm looking for are some yummy ways to serve this so that by the end of the 15 lbs I don't totally despise ham. All suggestions happily welcomed !

How about Rivvin's bread with a slice of ham and two over-easy eggs on top. What I had for breakfast minus the ham

    Belinda and Trish,

    Those are great suggestions !
I think tonight I'm going to try cooking some mashed sweet potatoes in butter and cinnamon then rolling that into the ham and cooking it with butter served with a side of greens. 15 lbs leaves room to try every recipe, I think !

    Thanks again, ladies !

I too like getting a good deal on meat. How about freezing some of it so you don't get sick of it? Just make sure to label it!
