I think there is just about the same amount of protein in 15 eggs and a pound of meet... eggs are about 6 or 7 grams of protein and an ounce of most meats is about 6 or 7 grams of protein. I am not knocking eggs - I love them!

How many is too many? No such thing
How many is OPTIMUM? ummmm...well I guess no such thing but for me 20-29 (3 for breakfast everyday + usually at least 5 more on salads or eggs for dinner)
To clarify, anything more than optimal I consider too many.

Seemed like a nice round number.

Looove eggs. When I was little I was such a picky eater, I would only eat the yolks.

I sometimes get a bad reaction from eating eggs..just doesn't feel right in my stomach. It's worse with conventional eggs, with pastured eggs I can eat 2/day most days without indigestion. So while I'd love to eat unlimited eggs my stomach doesn't want me to. Hardboiled eggs give me gas!

On another note, are organ meats reasonable? Sometimes muscle meat is expensive but the offal, which has many micronutrients not found in muscle meat, is a more reasonable price. Soup bones can also give you a bit more meatiness in your diet at a low cost.

Well, I think if you start sprouting feathers then you will know you have had too many

I limit my eggs because the way I think of it, birds don't lay eggs all year round so Grok wouldn't have eaten eggs every single day. But if you can tolerate eggs well, you should be able to tolerate a lot of eggs well.

So, naturally I eat a ton of eggs, about 45-50 per week.
Does your mother know you eat that many eggs???
