    Best work-out/dance lesson DVDs?

    Shop Now
    Hey everyone,

I want to learn to belly dance but with kiddo and lack of childcare its been just about impossible to get to a class. I was thinking of picking up one of those instructional DVDs, but have no idea what a good one would be. Any advice? I'm not looking to go on stage, just want to have fun.

I bellydance, and I use the 'Instructional Bellydance with Jillina' dvd's. They are awesome! She breaks down all the moves, and teaches them very well. There are 3 dvds in the series, and I love them all!

I like Jillina's, too. Jenna's Bellydance Basics & Beyond is a great one for learning the moves. Pair it with one of Neon's beginner DVDs (which are fun for dancing but aren't as instructive.) My absolute favorite is Rachel Brice's Serpentine. A lot of the dance instruction is too much for a beginner but I try to keep up. And her yoga sessions alone are fantastic! I use them before/after any bellydance workout.
