(Fortunately, my boyfriend's grandfather still has power, and graciously allowed me to store my meat in his freezer. All my beautiful grass-fed beef and pastured bacon is safe! Though I am very cold at home.)
Also...not saying, just saying....wouldnt the entire outside be a freezer too?

I'm so glad I'm not the only one that thought that! A screen-porch might be a good idea, though, in case of critters. It'd be a lot of work to hunt them down to get your grassfed meat one way or another

Nope, not when it's 48 degrees in the daytime. Believe me, I thought about it, too.

When you go in your backyard at night in nothing but your boxers, in near freezing temperatures, to take a pee....because its more relaxing outside and you like the sound it makes when hitting the leaves

You're leaving work, look up to see the geese flying south and wish you had a rifle with you...then proceed to tell one of the doctors you work for the exact thought that just ran through your head.

*As an aside ---- I looked on the 'net and found that migratory Canadian geese make their pre-migratory meals of corn, winter wheat, sorghum and (basically) trash -- so probably not as good eatin' as I'd hoped. We have a huge year-round population of them here on the golf courses and in parks...so much so that grounds people actively kill them in an attempt to keep the numbers down...then just bag up and toss the carcasses as not worth the effort of even feeding to pets.
If they were just a little more Primal table-friendly, the count around where I work/live would start decreasing rapidly!
    Started 7/5/11 at 274 lbs
    Now 214 -- that's 60 lbs!
Goal 160 lbs -- last time there was in junior high!
